The Greenwich venue is hosting three comedy nights
Up at The O2 in Greenwich is launching a new comedy series, Stand Up at The O2 (19 & 26 Sep & 3 Oct).
The series will star the stand up comedian Suzi Ruffell, who has been on Live at the Apollo and TV’s The Jonathan Ross Show and The Last Leg. She is also a regular at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
So if you’re missing this year’s festival, now you can listen to Ruffell on top of the arena instead.

What to expect
The O2 is an entertainment venue with capacity for 20,000 people.
From its roof you can see 360-degree views of the River Thames, Canary Wharf and Emirates Air Line.
Once you’ve climbed half way over the roof with Up at The O2, you can enjoy a mocktail while listening to exclusive material by Ruffell.

After her set is finished, you’ll climb back down.
While you’re in the area, make a day of it by taking a Backstage Tour of the arena, too (to 30 Sep).

Safety measures
You must wear clothes suitable for climbing. This is because Up at The O2 no longer provides its usual climbing suits or gilets. However, climbing shoes are still available.
In addition to the above measures, the reception has plastic screens to minimise the spread of Covid-19. Staff also wear face coverings and gloves.
Up at The O2 takes cashless payments only, so book ahead.
