J Sheekey, which opened off Leicester Square in the 1890s, is back in business again following a hiatus due to the Covid-19 lockdown.

Although the restaurant is still serving oysters, seafood and Champagne until late in the evening, it has new opening hours, so call ahead to check.

You must also book a table in advance. Sit inside, on its pavement terrace or in its satellite restaurant – the Atlantic Bar – next door.
