SightseeingWindsor Castle

Windsor Castle has re-opened.

The Queen’s weekend home and the world’s oldest inhabited castle. This is where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex wed and where Princess Eugenie married Jack Brooksbank in 2018. Highlights include the dazzling state apartments furnished with art by Rembrandt, Rubens and Canaletto, and the grand reception room with chandeliers and a huge malachite urn presented to Queen Victoria by Tsar Nicholas I in 1839. Queen Mary’s dolls’ house, created between 1921 and 1924, is an outstanding piece of craftsmanship.
